Jeff Bezos' ex-wife becomes 22nd richest person after getting N13.6 trillion from divorce

Legit.ng recently reported that the world's richest man Jeff Bezos agreed to a record-breaking divorce with his wife Mackenzie. The divorce has been finalised and Mackenzie has received a sum of N13.6 trillion as settlement. Due to this, she has become the 22nd richest person in the world.

The wealthy female divorcee has promised to donate half of the money received to charity. Based on the agreement, MacKenzie who is 49 years old will receive 4% stake in Amazon.com shares.
This is valued at $38.3 billion which, in the Nigerian currency, is an equivalent of N13.6 trillion.
Jeff Bezos, on the other hand,, will retain a 12% stake. The 55-year-old man will continue to be the world's richest man with a net worth of $121 billion.
The Bezos couple who were married for 25 years have four children together. It has been said that the union collapsed due to an alleged cheating activity.

 News emerged in January 2019 that Jeff had been allegedly cheating on his wife with former television anchor, Lauren Sanchez.

Another final year student of UNN commits suicide

The recent outbreak of suicide among Nigerian youths that had claimed many life's in 2019 is still growing mostly among students as another UNN final year students took his life. Samuel Elias, 25, a final year student of Department of Religion and Culture, University of Nigeria Nsukka has allegedly committed suicide by drinking sniper. The mother of the deceased, Mrs Kate Elias a staff of the university, told the  News agency of Nigeria  that the unfortunate incident happened on Monday June 17, around 5.30pm in her house at Justina Eze Street Nsukka.
